We listen to Pandora and iTunes while feigning sleep to ignore overly talkative neighbors, of course. Currently on heavy rotation on the Nickel playlist is Young the Giant. I finally got to see them in concert just a few weeks back, and they put on an amazing show. I have not stopped listening to them since.\u00a0 New Found Glory is also a band that I love listening to. I got into them about 10 years ago, and I am still hooked. A few of my favorite songs: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NOKTn_koZow\">2s and 3s<\/a>,\u201d \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YrrcWPkuiKU\">The Story So Far<\/a>,\u201d \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dvmL4Ubb8E4\">Right Where We Left off<\/a>\u201d and the cover of Lisa Loeb\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fMh2Fr7mlR8&amp;feature=kp\">Stay<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0I also can\u2019t forget Jimmy Eat World. \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ROatPGGMvXg\">Sweetness<\/a>\u201d always puts me in a good mood.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<address><a href=\"http:\/\/www.theswitch.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/american-pickers-logo_1_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1221 alignleft\" alt=\"american-pickers-logo_1_1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.theswitch.us\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/american-pickers-logo_1_1-e1400259088910.png\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Chris Jobst\u00a0<\/address>\n<h3>Business Development Manager<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1.714285714;\">One show that never fails me is the History Channel&#8217;s &#8220;American Pickers.&#8221; I love watching the hosts,\u00a0Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz,\u00a0scour the back country for\u00a0hidden gems in junkyards, basements, garages and barns. They turn junk into treasure. I\u00a0<\/span>especially<span style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1.714285714;\">\u00a0enjoy when Mike finds his favorite pieces to pick \u2013 antique motorcycles \u2013 and learning about the American history behind these forgotten classics.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Also, the witty banter between Mike &amp; Frank\u00a0is entertaining enough. I even got to visit their store, Antique Archaeology, in Nashville, Tenn., while visiting. My go-to source for both is Grantland.com. Started by Bill Simmons, they cover everything from sports, TV shows, music and movies. Articles by people in the know and multiple podcasts daily, I can\u2019t wait to listen. Spending most of my non-working life playing roller derby, Grantland is a great place to keep myself updated on what is going on.
