Which clients\/projects are currently on your radar?<\/h1>\n

CHA Annual Convocation, Primerica Annual Convention and Maui Jim Lens Tech Video.<\/p>\n

How did you first get involved in this industry?<\/h1>\n

I have a degree in Technical Theatre from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Our department had a great student work relationship with Switch (at that time Busch Creative Services). Periodically we would get a call for students to come work on packing shows; from there I started going on the road. My first show was the Bud Dry rollout in Spokane, Washington.<\/p>\n

What about your personal background (education, hobbies, interests) helps to inspire\/enhance your professional life?<\/h1>\n

I\u2019ve always been interested in sound design and music. I\u2019ve been playing music since I can remember. My whole family is very musical. And I\u2019ve always enjoyed enhancing a story through sound design.<\/p>\n

Also, having knowledge and experience in staging, lighting and video helps me understand how a sound design will need to work on the shows we produce.<\/p>\n

What sort of project is your favorite?<\/h1>\n

I really get pumped up when I\u2019m writing music that has to time out with live elements onstage. I\u2019ve written for live entrances of farming equipment and reveals of factory assembly lines. Those kinds of projects are the ones I thrive on. The timing has to be perfect and the music has to tell the story as it unfolds in front of the audience.<\/p>\n
