The CD I have in the Jeep right now is All the Way Live by The Urge. They’ve always been a favorite band of mine, so I picked this one up when they played at this year’s Taste of St. Louis. The Urge is a local alt rock band, and it’s always a good time if you get a chance to see them live. I’ve also heard the singer’s restaurant on The Hill, Steve’s Hot Dogs, is pretty darn good – but have yet to try it.

Like just about everyone else in this town, I can’t turn away from the Cardinals’ late game heroics so far this postseason. With these stressful games, my living room has featured frequent cursing, yelling, screaming and cheering. Unfortunately, this has left my dogs terrified and shaking under furniture. Hopefully we’ll reconnect in November.
